This bike is great, my 11 year old loves it. I hesitated because of the other reviews but I’m glad I purchased it because it is a terrific value for the money. You probably have figured out there aren’t a lot of options for 24″ BMX bikes and at this age he’s going through a bike a year so I didn’t want to spend $500 – $600 for a bike to be replaced next year.

I was concerned about the reports of bent front forks, what’s interesting is it happened to me too. I was about to give up and then I realized my mistake: I put the bike on the wheel instead of the wheel on the bike. I was lazy and so I put the bike on the wheel, everything right side up. Yep, bent front fork. I was angry for not heeding the other warnings but then I took off the front wheel, turned the bike upside down and put the wheel back on – perfect fit, no bent forks. Not sure exactly how that happened but everything is perfect and I recommend this bike.

The packing was good and the most surprising part was the brake was already assembled – no adjustments necessary, the brake worked perfectly out of the box, that has to be a first. If I removed the troubleshooting described above it was about ten minutes of unpacking and a half hour of assembly.

Well I don’t know what is going on but the front forks are 2-3in too narrow to fit the front rim on. The box was in perfect shape and awesome packing. Husband did spread fork to get rim to slide in but after only 30 min of riding wheel makes noise at bearing. Also worth notating husband has ridding BMX for 30 years . He mentions the extremely long crank length it says 170mm but one measures 176mm c to c and the other is 169mm. We ordered two one black one and one grey one both cases front forks have to be spread with a floor Jack but then the wheel won’t stay centered. The frame is doubled strapped welded at the stress areas rather sloppy actually. For $169 it’s a good deal for the frame he says. The front sprocket is 42tooth almost unusable for park stunts as the name says. But he said it’s set up more for bmx track racing. Very hard for kids to pull hills with the gearing it’s almost hilarious he said. Main thing is the front fork issue it is a serious issue unless you own a machine shop. The single brake was decent. Lastly the rims are NOT double walled as stated husband trued one bike up but after 140lbs son rose for the day the rims were again 1/2in to 3/4 wobble back and forth. We didn’t even attempt the other bike rims like wise they was out 1/2 or more on wobble.

La compré para mi hijo y está muy contento con ella. Es una bicicleta sencilla, tipo BMX pero de rodada más grande.

It is truly a sturdy bike. I grew up riding BMX and though it’s not a high end performance bike, it’s not priced to be one. However, you definitely receive more than your money’s worth.
Full-disclosure, my nephew hasen’t ridden it yet, but I put it together and could recognize the durability immediately when building.
The only issue I had was that one of the brake cables was too short, and upon messaging customer service in the app the representative took care of it immediately and could not have been more gracious or generous. I had a frustrating experience when purchasing given, well the I was accommodated and treated when just now requesting the necessary parts, I am happy to overlook the initial frustration. Is definitely a street BMX not a dirt thought just in case anyone is unsure, much heavier than what anyone would ride on dirt, however, that is appropriate for a street bike, and it is also worth the weight in what it provides in it’s sturdy durability.

Nice bike. It’s light weight. Gear system is absent as it is not required. Hence, less complicated rear chain system part. Runs smooth. You may need wider seat. Some tools are required for semi-assembling it.

The bike is good the brakes are very bad, it will not lock the wheel. Not happy as my child can not emergency stop

Ok I’m not an expert on tools and parts of the bike, so please don’t judge if I used the wrong term, I’m doing my best to describe what I experienced. lol 🙂

I bought this as a gift for my almost 10 year old son, and it was much easier to assemble than the Razor High Roller BMX/Freestyle Bike (20-Inch Wheel) I purchased for my younger 7 year old son. The front wheel is tough to fit on, you’ll need to have some tool to ply apart the U axel because wheel does not easily fit on to the front wheel axel bolts (I used the back of a hammer while holding the other side of U). I would definitely recommend completing this part with extra caution, as I could easily see how it could cause injury and the paint on the bike chips off easily if you’re not careful.

The only other thing I would recommend having is the proper size allen wrench tool to tighten the seat, because I only had the standard size and it did not fit and you can’t use an adjustable wrench on this part. Other than that, everything else looks good, and I can’t wait to see how my son likes it! I’ll be sure to update this review once he’s able to test it out.

This is not the bike I would have chosen for my son but he absolutely loves it! He saw this model on Amazon and instantly said he would prefer it over the bulky 10-speed mountains or squat BMX bikes I was looking at. Apparently, ‘freestyle’ is in with all the hip 10-year-olds. Well, we wern’t disappointed. The bike arrived quickly (thanks to Amazon.com’s super-sneaky shipping elves) and was very easy to put together. I haven’t noticed any defects in workmanship or the quality of the product. My son has been riding hard now for over a month now and the bike is going strong. I will try to update this in about a year whenever we reach the 30,000 mile mark 🙂

Just wanted to give a brief update now we have reached the one year mark. My son puts this poor bike through a lot of abuse, leaving it outside in the elements for days at a time and letting it drop to the ground if he is in too much of a hurry to engage the kickstand (don’t ask me what kind of responsibility a 12 year old could have that he’s in that much of a hurry, I can’t figure it out myself. Anyway, the poor bike suffers through all of this maltreatment with no signs of wearing out. All pieces and parts are still intact, no rust that I can see, and the breaks still work correctly without any necessary adjustment. Can’t ask for any better than that!
