Took about 30 mins to assemble. I did have to adjust the detailed screws a bit to get all gears to work but it was pretty easy to do. Overall my kid loves it. It’s quite light vs my other sons CCM bike of the same size.

It only lasted 6 months and my son didn’t ride it that much, garage kept. Gears stopped shifting, cheap plastic parts, you can tell something is rattling in there. The seat would not stop going up and down, like the angle. I tightened it over and over, still did it, tried to tighten it one more time and the piece that holds the seat completely broke. This was done with a 1/4 ratchet, so there was not that much torque being applied. I swear, what happened to the bikes that would last year’s when I was kid?

This bike is perfect for my 7 year old! He absolutely loves it. We put the seat all the way down so plenty of room to grow. Assembly was pretty straight forward and took less than an hour. The only thing I would say is shifting back down is a little tough, but he is still able to do it and doesn’t seem to be an issue for him. We haven’t used it enough yet to comment on wear, but the price was right and so far we are very satisfied with this bike. Don’t hesitate to buy sooner than later, it seems bicycles are already selling out quickly with spring weather being just around the corner. I would definitely recommend this purchase!

For my son’s 9th birthday. First speed bike and is flying to and from school. Easy 30 min set up. Almost impossible to get seat tightly in place so it won’t move going over a big bump.

The bike is great and my son likes it so I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 2 or 3, but it was missing an important part. It was the piece that connects the handle bars to the front wheel. Thankfully, we could use the piece from his old bike and it worked, but there was a lot of time wasted and frustration in putting it together due to the missing piece. My son has never had a bike with gears and he said it was hard at first to twist the handle to change gears, but now he’s getting the hang of it. In the end, for the price, I’d buy it again, but I just hope they make sure that all pieces are included in other boxes before shipping!

Was happy with this bike. I bought it for my 8 year old. He has to stand on his tiptoes to straddle it but will grow into it quickly.
Assembly went well. I didn’t have to adjust brakes or gears to get it working.
The one thing that stands out to me is that it is hard for him to shift into first gear because you have to wrench on the shifter fairly hard to pull the spring to 1st. My daughters have similar bikes and they have the same problem so it seems to be the design.
I would recommend this bike.

Nice bike, but for the price the gears were very hard to shift right out of the box. The next spring our boy still needed to pull over for us to help shift it. This spring the warranty is long gone and I will bring it into a bike repair shop to see if it can be tuned up and saved.

I bought this bike for my son’s birthday. He really loves it. Unfortunately one bolt for gear guard was missing. My wife called to customer service for the missing bolt. And, she was impressed by their professional support.

Bikes have really gone up in price, but this one was reasonable for the quality you get. It is very sturdy and a really nice metallic blue color. My 6 year old loves that it has had brakes and gears. It was a little tall for him at first with even adjusting the seat, but it will last him for a while. Great purchase!

The bike came with all the tools needed to assemble, and the included instructional video made assembly a breeze. I bought the 20″ bike for my child and it looks very nice and rides well. The 6-speed shifter is a little tight on the ends for the little hand but operates well between gears 2-5.
While the paint is of good color, it seems to be very thin. I peeled off the white barcode sticker and it took off a big piece of paint with it. Now I need to find some touch-up paint to seal off the steel from the environment before it rusts…
